On Wednesday 20th June, Emma and Lucy attended a ‘Tiger who came to tea’ party at Heart of the Forest school and took a couple of our children with them.
The purpose of this was to raise awareness of the facilities and support for children with special educational needs from the school.
They were both really impressed with what is on offer at the school and having more regular visits was discussed. We feel this will be a great benefit to our setting, offering an opportunity for our children to develop greater tolerance and understanding of others with additional needs and for us to have other professionals to offer support in this area. Also the facilities at the school were amazing and our children will love visiting!
We hope to be able to sort out more visits in the next school year.
