Royal Wedding

With the upcoming Royal Wedding next weekend, Sunbeams have decided on a ‘Royal’ theme for the week ahead, week commencing 14th May. Children are very welcome to bring their best royal attire to nursery to help us celebrate.

On Friday 18th May, we will be having a party to celebrate Harry and Megan on their forthcoming big day. Instead of normal nursery lunch on Friday we will be having a Royal banquet (party food). Princes and Princesses are welcome all week and we will have lots of activities based on this theme.

This fits in with the EYFS- Knowledge and Understanding of the world: ‘Strengthen the positive impressions children have of their own cultures and faiths, and those of others in their community, by sharing and celebrating a range of practices and special events.’
